Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory development, motor skills, and early socialization. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies. Support individual developmental needs by observing children's behavior and adjusting activities accordingly. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements that support childhood development and classroom management. Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Knowledge of child development instruction and behavior management techniques for young children. Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is required or obtainable upon hire. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Ability to handle child supervision responsibly while fostering a nurturing environment. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
