Ten Trails Early Learning Childcare in Black Diamond, WA is looking for a caring, dependable, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team

We are a licensed in-home childcare program serving young children, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.

DCYF REQUIREMENTS

The Lead Teacher must meet the applicable Washington State DCYF requirements, including: Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or equivalent DCYF-approved background check — required before employment/working with children as applicable Complete required DCYF licensing orientation/preservice requirements Complete required Child Care Basics (CCB) training First Aid & CPR certification Bloodborne Pathogens training Food Worker Card if applicable Safe Sleep training if applicable Meet the ECE Initial Certificate or equivalent education requirement within the applicable DCYF timeline ECE education/credentials must be approved and verified in MERIT Maintain required annual professional development and in-service training

Has experience working with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool-age children Is reliable, responsible, patient, and nurturing Works well as part of a team Can communicate professionally with families and staff Is comfortable following a structured curriculum and daily routines Is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for children

ASAP — as soon as all qualifications and background-check requirements are completed.
