The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. You will implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, with social-emotional and hands on learning, and to promote learning through meaningful play. We are a state licensed program and certified through Early Achievers. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Foster positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues to support each child's learning journey. Facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, math concepts and language/literacy development. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning environment. Collaborate with other educators in the center to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience. Requirements Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents and staff. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Patience, creativity and enthusiasm for teaching young children are critical attributes. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred at the time of hiring. Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is essential. Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our young learners.
Pay:
$22.22 - $27.32 per hour
