Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for child development and dedication to fostering a positive classroom atmosphere will inspire children's curiosity and support their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with patience and understanding. Manage classroom activities to foster a safe, organized, and inclusive environment through effective classroom management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong partnerships. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety issues. Maintain up-to-date first aid and CPR certifications to ensure immediate response in emergency situations. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare practices, and standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
