Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable. Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports child development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor skills, and early intervention techniques. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns with clarity and professionalism. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare policies to guarantee a safe and secure environment for all children. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to early childhood education, special education practices, and childcare best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles, early intervention strategies, and preschool teaching methodologies such as Montessori. Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; familiarity with toddler care is highly desirable. Excellent classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior. Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and community partners about student progress and classroom activities. First aid and CPR certification to ensure safety during emergency situations; knowledge of child welfare laws is essential. Experience working with special education needs or implementing inclusive teaching practices is a plus.
