Job Description

About Us:

We are a small and privately owned daycare in Delavan, WI. We are currently looking for a lead teacher for our 4-year-old classroom. Hours would be 7:00am to 5:00pm, 4 days/week (weekday off TBD). Being lead teacher certified in early childhood is a must for this position.

License/Certification Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED CPR & First Aid Certification (preferred or willing to obtain) And MUST have one of the following: College credits in Early Childhood Education•or•

Child Development Associate Certification Candidates Should:

Be comfortable with all age groups Be caring and have a love for all children Be able to lift and hold children Have effective communication skills with families, team members, and directors Have experience or an understanding of curriculum and classroom management Have reliable transportation Be able to pass a caregiver background check

Responsibilities Include:

You will be responsible for implementing lesson plans that follow our academic preschool-based curriculum. Our teachers must be energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both the children and their families. Care for children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old, which may include children with disabilities or special needs Follow our academic preschool-based curriculum, which includes preparing and implementing the lesson plans Follow the classroom's daily schedule Log children's daily reports into the communication app (Procare) Assist with toileting Assist with both classroom cleaning and center chores (toys, dishes, bathrooms, etc.)
