Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times through vigilant child supervision and behavior management. Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, early learning, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary to address minor injuries or emergencies promptly. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns that arise during care. Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care tailored to individual requirements. Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards. Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare as required by law. Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children with a focus on nurturing their physical, emotional, and social growth. Proven ability to plan engaging activities that stimulate learning and support behavioral development. Familiarity with classroom experience or daycare operations that emphasizes safety protocols and child supervision techniques. Knowledge of behavior management strategies suitable for young children with diverse needs. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in childhood education or special needs support is a plus.
