Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and passionate Daycare Teachers to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children from infancy through preschool age. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for all children. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers as needed. Facilitate play-based learning activities that encourage exploration and creativity. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the well-being of all children in care. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and daily activities. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in preschool or daycare settings is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus. Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching young children are essential qualities for success in this role.
