Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster growth across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help children develop essential skills while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom experience. Responsibilities Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development tailored to various age groups such as toddlers and preschoolers Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Support child development through targeted instruction in literacy education, math, physical education, and other core areas Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certification requirements Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to promote collaborative support Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional strategies Collaborate with colleagues on early intervention strategies for children with special needs or requiring additional support in areas like childhood development or behavior management Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori or other specialized curricula such as preschool teaching methods Demonstrated experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and child welfare practices Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and protection Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are advantageous Ability to work with diverse learners across developmental stages including toddlers care and preschool experience Knowledge of childhood development theories, standardized testing procedures, and teaching physical education activities Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive! Pay:
