Job Description

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic individual to join our team in supporting children's daily well-being, development, and safety. In this role, you will help create a warm, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, communicates well with families and team members, and maintains a positive, professional approach in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Support the daily care, supervision, and engagement of children in a safe and welcoming environment Assist with age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, social development, and play Help maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom or care area Support routines such as meals, snacks, rest time, hygiene, and transitions between activities Observe children's behavior and well-being and communicate concerns to the appropriate team member Follow established procedures related to safety, health, and supervision Build respectful, positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Assist with classroom materials, preparation, and cleanup as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working with children in a childcare, school, or similar setting is preferred Ability to remain patient, attentive, and engaged while supporting children of various ages Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow directions, policies, and safety procedures Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate care practices is a plus Preferred Attributes Friendly and approachable demeanor Flexible and adaptable in a busy environment Genuine interest in supporting children's growth and learning Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism What We Offer A supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children's lives Hands-on experience in a child-centered setting Training and growth opportunities We are an equal opportunity employer.
