The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University houses one of the largest undergraduate majors on campus. The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University offers a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Minor in Psychology, as well as a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in Clinical Psychology. A number of opportunities for increased engagement within the discipline of Psychology exist, including internships and practica, opportunities for gaining research experience via the department's laboratory for faculty and student scholarship, the Honors Program in Psychology, Psi Chi, and the Psychology Club. The department has ample lab space including an eye tracker and two Biopacs but does not have animal facilities for animal research. Essential Duties:
The Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State University seeks qualified and committed Part Time Faculty beginning September 2026, who are enthusiastic teachers and dedicated to working with undergraduates.
Course offerings may include:

Applicants should possess:
Ability to effectively teach in a close, collegial environment dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship.
Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity.
Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning.
Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading.
Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the department office as requested.
Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Psychology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Psychology is preferred. Teaching experience preferred. Special Conditions for
