Experience with collecting and analyzing benchmark and progress monitoring data as a means to inform instruction is expected. Pedagogical competencies in all areas of language acquisition (i.e. phonological awareness, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary acquisition) is expected. Experience with Fundations Wilson Language Program is beneficial. Candidates should fully understand, and honor, school cultures based on various religious backgrounds and classical approaches to instruction. A successful candidate needs to embrace/seek professional growth opportunity to serve DCIU as an instructional coach to our non-public school partners.
Minimum requirements:
Valid PDE Reading Specialist certification required Masters Degree Required Elementary K-6 and/or English 7-12 certifications preferred Special Education certification preferred Wilson Reading Program Level I certification preferred Fundations reading intervention experience preferred Job-related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills Strong organizational skills Ability to thrive and complete obligations independently Flexible and reliable Ability to work effectively and regularly with a computer and computer programs Willingness and ability to travel to two or more work sites each day

From $68,220.00 per year
