Qualifications:

1. SC teacher certification in Elementary or Early Childhood Education. (Preferred but not required) 2. Degree(s) required in area of major study. Primary Responsibilities Provide targeted reading intervention to small groups of students. Use assessment and progress-monitoring data to identify and address individual reading needs. Implement evidence-based literacy strategies and interventions. Monitor and document student progress. Collaborate with classroom teachers and other instructional staff. Help students strengthen foundational reading, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills as appropriate.
