Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic High School Computer Science Teacher to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. Responsibilities Design and implement innovative computer science curricula aligned with educational standards and tailored to diverse learning styles Deliver engaging lessons on programming languages, algorithms, data management, cybersecurity, and software development Integrate educational technology tools to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support growth Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects cultural diversity and promotes positive behavior management Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide initiatives in STEM education Support students in preparing for standardized tests, coding competitions, and college applications related to computer science Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance assessments in compliance with school policies Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with technological advancements and pedagogical best practices Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Proven experience teaching high school students in a classroom setting with a focus on computer science or STEM subjects Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, as well as concepts like algorithms, data structures, and cybersecurity fundamentals Familiarity with curriculum development, instructional design, and integrating learning technology into lessons Excellent classroom management skills coupled with the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs and learning styles Experience working with students from various cultural backgrounds and supporting learners with special education needs is highly desirable Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on curriculum implementation and educational initiatives Strong communication skills for engaging students, parents, and staff effectively Knowledge of educational compliance standards and assessment practices for secondary education levels Laboratory experience or research laboratory background related to computer science or technology is a plus Join us in shaping the future of technology by inspiring young minds through innovative teaching methods. $56,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
