The district was formed in 1967 from the unification of seven elementary districts and one secondary district. Requirements / Qualifications
Credit Recovery class at Escalon High School. 8 weeks. Classes begin on September 28 and continue through November 20, 2026. We are looking for teachers for the following course: - Social Studies (World/US) Must have the appropriate teaching credential for the subject being taught. Please submit a letter of interest to hr@escalonusd.org. Classes will meet for 3 hours per week. Class days and times will be determined by the site administration, with class start times beginning after school hours. The number of days and hours per meeting will be determined based on student/staffing needs. Teachers will be required to provide 24 hours of assignments in addition to the 24 hours of class instruction (8 weeks/3 hours per week). Teachers will be responsible for all class planning/prep, weekly instruction, grading of assignments/exams, and calculating and turning in student grades at the end of the session. At the end of the session, teachers who have completed all requirements will receive a stipend of $2,300. Classes are limited to 25 and 40 for any PE courses, but when necessary to increase the class size above 25 and 40 (PE), respectively, the teacher will be compensated $100/student above the cap of 25 and 40 (PE).
