Job Description

MUST HAVE ACTIVE FL TEACHING CERTIFICATION
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters student growth and academic achievement. This role involves designing lesson plans, delivering instruction in various subjects, and assessing student performance through standardized testing and other evaluation methods. A strong background in science, particularly in areas such as molecular biology, microbiology, and organic chemistry, is preferred. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals. Educate students in various subjects, utilizing effective instructional design techniques to enhance learning outcomes. Conduct laboratory sessions to provide hands-on experience in scientific concepts and methodologies. Assess student understanding through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational environment. Maintain an organized classroom that promotes a positive learning atmosphere. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of classroom management techniques and instructional strategies. Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development is highly desirable. Familiarity with laboratory practices related to molecular biology, microbiology, and organic chemistry is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
