Job Announcement - High School Science Teacher Position Quitman County School District is excited to announce an opening for the position of High School Science Teacher. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to join our team and inspire students to explore the wonders of science.

Full-time Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective science lessons to high school students. 2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. 3. Utilize a variety of instructional methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles. 4. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. 5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities. 6. Stay current with advancements in science education and integrate real-world applications into the curriculum. 7. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents/guardians. 8. Supervise and support student activities, such as science fairs and club activities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. 2. Demonstrated passion for and expertise in teaching science subjects. 3. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. 4. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. 5. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
