Position Details Qualifications:

Possess or be eligible for a valid Michigan teaching certificate Minimum requirement of Bachelor degree with a major/minor in Science with DI, DX or DP endorsement Meet highly qualified requirements for Science Able to assess and document student progress Professional in personal conduct and actions Excellent communication skills Experience with PLTW preferred but not required

Duties:

Excellent communication and organizational skills required Working knowledge of Science Common Core Standards Ability to link instruction and assessments to Common Core Standards Ability to use formative assessments to inform instruction Create, deliver, and grade assessments/assignments as needed Ability to utilize effective instructional strategies Ability to differentiate instruction Must be able to effectively integrate technology into the curriculum Knowledge of Pyramid Response to Intervention, techniques for intervention and progress monitoring a plus Perform other duties as assigned.
