Job Description

We are seeking a Horseback Riding Instructor to join our team. This role may include teaching horsemanship lessons, assisting with therapy riding lessons, or both—depending on your experience and mentorship track. What's most important is your solid horse knowledge, dependability, and passion for our mission. Equestrian Bridges is a nonprofit located in Rogers, AR, dedicated to building connections through equine-assisted programs. From therapy lessons to horsemanship instruction, we use the power of horses to create growth, confidence, and healing for children, families, and our community What You'll Do Instruct or assist in horseback riding lessons (horsemanship and/or therapy-focused). Adapt lesson styles to meet the needs of riders of different ages, abilities, and learning levels. Follow and promote EB's safety standards to ensure a secure environment for both riders and horses. Care for and prepare horses before/after lessons (grooming, tacking, untacking). Support the barn team in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming facility. Collaborate with staff to ensure programs run smoothly and effectively.
What We're Looking For :
Strong horse knowledge is required (handling, groundwork, care). Certifications, not required, but preferred (CHA, ARIA, PATH, Egala) Must be comfortable working with children and families. Dependable, professional, and eager to learn under mentorship. Physically able to lift 40 lbs, walk/stand for extended periods, and work in an outdoor barn environment. Passion for the healing power of horses and alignment with the mission of Equestrian Bridges. Perks Mentorship and training provided (including therapy lesson instruction pathway).
