Description Work with children while their parents are training in the facility. You will play an important role entertaining our members children through safe educational activities. You will assist in organizing of kids activities, games and special events for children between the ages of six months to 12 years old. Responsibilities Maintain positive attitude, engage with members and their children in a friendly manner. Monitor children in play area to ensure a safe environment. Clean and maintain the Kids Club cleanliness per Company's standards. Provide support to children on use of play equipment. Create activity schedule for each day, including storytelling, arts and crafts, games and more. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures of Kids Club Report all suspicious or inappropriate behavior or abuse relating to the children Qualification Working toward a high school diploma or GED Six months to one year of experience working with children (preferred) Licenses / Certifications Other Requirements Perks First Aid Certification required within 90 days of hire (Athletica will pay for and help you obtain) Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within first 90 days of hire (Athletica will pay for and help you obtain) Background check Drug Screen Continuing education courses for continued employment in working with children Complimentary membership Discounts on goods and services Advancement opportunities
