The ideal candidate has experience in Taekwondo, Karate, or another martial art and is comfortable working with students of different ages and skill levels. Previous teaching or coaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities Teach Taekwondo and martial arts classes to students of various ages and skill levels. Provide instruction in basic techniques, kicking, forms, self-defense, physical conditioning, and other age-appropriate martial arts skills. Demonstrate techniques clearly and safely. Create a positive, structured, energetic, and engaging class environment. Help students develop confidence, discipline, respect, focus, and physical fitness. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Assist students with preparation for belt testing and advancement. Maintain student safety and proper behavior during classes. Communicate professionally and positively with students, parents, instructors, and staff. Work with other instructors to maintain consistent teaching standards and curriculum. Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized training area. Qualifications Experience or training in Taekwondo, Karate, Martial Arts, or Physical Education is required . Previous martial arts teaching or coaching experience is preferred. Experience working with children is strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and ability to motivate and engage students. Patience and flexibility when working with different ages, personalities, and skill levels. Ability to demonstrate martial arts techniques safely and effectively. Strong leadership and class-management skills. Dependable, professional, and punctual. Ability to work well as part of a team. Schedule Part-time or Full-time opportunities available. Afternoon, evening, and/or weekend availability may be required. Schedule will be discussed based on availability and experience.
