Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Horseback Riding Instructor, where you will inspire confidence and foster a love of equestrian activities among learners of all ages and skill levels. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for horses with your talent for teaching, ensuring a safe, engaging, and rewarding experience for every rider. As a key member of our program, you will develop customized riding lessons, oversee safety protocols, and promote positive riding techniques that build skills and confidence. Duties Design and deliver engaging horseback riding lessons tailored to individual skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing riding safety rules and proper handling procedures Conduct thorough equipment checks, including tack and riding gear, before each session Provide clear instructions on riding techniques, horse care, and safety practices to students of all ages Monitor rider progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement and confidence building Maintain a clean and organized riding area, including stables, arenas, and equipment storage Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, utilizing first aid skills such as CPR and AED operation when necessary Qualifications Proven experience working with children and teaching physical activities in a safe and effective manner Strong knowledge of horseback riding techniques, safety protocols, and horse behavior management Certification or experience in sports coaching or sports-specific training instruction is highly desirable Background in lifeguard experience, swimming, martial arts (such as karate or judo), or climbing enhances your ability to manage physical activities confidently Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Experience with behavior management strategies to support positive learning environments First aid and CPR certification required; AED operation knowledge preferred Prior experience in health clubs or gym settings involving physical education is advantageous Join us in creating memorable equestrian experiences that promote safety, skill development, and joy for riders of all ages.
