Part-Time Assistant Martial Arts Instructor Alpha Martial Arts is looking for a positive, dependable, and energetic Part-Time Assistant Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. This paid position is approximately 2 to 3 days per week and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, sharing their martial arts knowledge, and helping students build confidence, discipline, respect, and physical fitness. Responsibilities Assist with engaging martial arts classes for children and students of different ages and skill levels Teach and demonstrate fundamental skills, including stances, strikes, blocks, kicks, forms, agility, and coordination Help students improve their technique while maintaining a positive and encouraging attitude Support the lead instructor with class organization, student behavior, attendance, and safety Monitor students during training to ensure techniques are performed properly and safely Communicate professionally with students, parents, and other team members Help create a welcoming environment that promotes discipline, teamwork, respect, and personal growth Participate in ongoing training and instructor development Requirements Must be at least 17 years old Must have reliable transportation Must have experience in a stand-up martial art, such as Taekwondo or Karate Must be comfortable working with children Must be dependable, professional, energetic, and willing to learn Must have strong communication and leadership skills Previous teaching, coaching, sports, or youth development experience is preferred CPR, first aid, or AED certification is a plus This is a great opportunity to gain teaching experience, strengthen your leadership skills, and make a positive impact in the lives of our students.
