This is an on-site, FT position. Must be able to work at the 2 Children's Specialty locations in South County and West County, twice monthly. In this role, you will work with families and provide safety education on car seats- including installation, helmet, home and sleep safety concerns. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for teaching classes, giving presentations, conducting tours and working at various events for family and/or educators. Researches, develops and/or delivers classes, presentations, activities and other events. Responsibilities Delivers child health and wellness, normal growth and development, safety, and other pediatric presentations, classes and other events for the community and schools. Provides hands-on instruction and/or medical care to children, parents and professionals through a variety of activities. Serves as an ambassador of the hospital by giving tours, offering activities and providing other services at the hospital, in schools and at other community organizations. Assists with accurate tracking of all community education information. Assists with the revision of current programs and the development of new programs. Minimum Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED Experience
