Set on a legacy ranch in the Texas Hill Country, we provide a high-end environment centered on shooting sports, hospitality, and land stewardship. We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Range Hand to support daily range operations, maintain facilities, and deliver a safe, welcoming member experience. This role blends facilities maintenance, range safety, hospitality, and outdoor work. This is also a growth opportunity. High-performing team members may advance into Range Master or Instructor roles as the organization expands.

Reports To:
General Manager / Range Operations Lead Key Responsibilities Range Setup & Maintenance Set up, reset, and maintain shotgun courses and shooting stations Ensure pistol and rifle bays are safe, clean, and properly equipped Inspect and maintain equipment, signage, and safety features Proactively identify and address maintenance needs Range Safety Officer Duties Monitor shooting activities and enforce all safety protocols Provide safety briefings and ensure compliance on the range Maintain situational awareness and respond to incidents as needed Obtain and maintain RSO certification (company-sponsored if needed) Maintain current first aid certification (company-sponsored) Member Support & Hospitality Greet members and guests in a professional, friendly manner Provide basic instruction on safe firearm handling (as appropriate) Support instructors during classes, events, and training sessions Deliver a high level of service consistent with a private club environment Events & Property Operations Assist with setup and breakdown of events and activities Perform general labor, including lifting, moving equipment, and site setup Maintain grounds, equipment, and overall property appearance Assist with general repairs, upkeep, and ranch-related tasks Qualifications Required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly Strong attention to safety and detail Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Professional demeanor in a member-facing environment Preferred (Not Required) Experience in shooting sports or range operations Previous Range Safety Officer (RSO) certification Background in ranch work, construction, maintenance, or trades Hospitality, country club, or resort experience Military, law enforcement, or first responder experience Outdoor industry experience (guiding, outfitting, etc.) Growth Opportunities This role serves as an entry point into long-term career paths, including: Range Master (Operations Leadership) Assistant Instructor (Training & Education) Training and certifications (RSO, first aid, and advanced instruction) are provided to support career development. Qualifications Education Some college (preferred) High School (preferred) Experience Background in country clubs, resorts, outdoor recreation, or service-based roles requiring professional guest interaction, attention to detail, and a high standard of service. (required) Hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, ranch work, or general labor involving equipment operation, repairs, and outdoor property upkeep. (required) Experience working at a shooting range, sporting clays facility, or in hunting/shooting environments, including range setup, safety enforcement, or equipment handling.
