Parents' Night Out Program Lead (Kids Events) Street Jitsu | Roanoke, TX | Part-time evenings Can you walk into a room full of kids, get them excited about the evening, and keep everything running smoothly? Street Jitsu is looking for a dependable, energetic leader to run our Parents' Night Out events. Parents get an evening to themselves. Kids get games, activities, new friends, and a great time at the gym. You'll be the lead person making that happen—from welcoming families at check-in to making sure every child leaves safely with an approved adult. What you'll do Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and movement activities that keep kids engaged throughout the event. Supervise the group, set clear expectations, and handle behavior calmly and fairly. Manage check-in and pickup, communicate with parents, and follow our safety procedures. Keep the event on schedule, help children feel included, and adapt activities when something isn't working. Set up before the event and leave the space clean and ready for the next class. You'd be a great fit if you Have experience leading groups of children in childcare, camps, schools, youth programs, or kids' events. Are comfortable taking charge of an event and making sound decisions without constant direction. Bring energy and creativity while staying attentive to safety and details. Communicate clearly with both kids and parents. Are reliable and available for scheduled evening events. CPR and first aid certification are preferred, or you must be willing to obtain them before leading an event. Employment is subject to a background check. Martial arts experience is welcome but isn't required; this role is about leading a great kids' event. Why Street Jitsu?
