We are looking for a friendly and energetic facilitator to assist apprentices in their Steamoji missions, inspire confidence and enthusiasm in STEM subjects, and provide a safe and fun atmosphere for children to experiment and develop a growth mindset. Responsibilities:
Assist with the deployment of the Steamoji curriculum
Contribute to company culture and Steamoji core values
Review instructional videos before each session
Work with 4-6 apprentices to complete missions
Assist and guide apprentices during the making process of Steamoji projects
Assist apprentices with tools and equipment and ensure safety in the process
Create and share video artifacts and provide feedback to parents
Qualifications:
High School, College/University Students seeking a part-time position working with children and learning basic technological skills in the process.
Basic knowledge of coding and technology or ability to quickly pick up basic concepts
Experience working with 3D printing/Laser technologies
Energetic, fun and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children
Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
Team player who works well with others in a collaborative setting
Interest in technology and willingness to help with apprentices projects
Academy Operating Hours:
Our operating hours are
M-F:
2-7pm and
Sat:
10am-5pm. You can pick days that work for your schedule based on the academy operating hours.
