Job Summary Job Summary The Alder WIDE cohort is now recruiting a new cohort for the Culver City USD Alder GSE Teacher Residency Program. This innovative and affordable pathway offers aspiring educators a direct route to becoming a full-time teacher in our community. In just one year, residents earn both a Master's Degree and a Teaching Credential while gaining hands-on experience in the classroom. The program combines rigorous coursework led by Alder GSE faculty with a mentorship-based, co-teaching model in the TK12 classroom to develop highly effective educators. Upon completion of the residency, graduates receive priority consideration for full-time teaching positions within Culver City USD.
Requirements / Qualifications
TUITION ~$23,290 tuition (final tuition set in Sept. 2026 for the Class of 2027)
BENEFITS
$30,000 stipend (Residents are not employees of the school) Reimbursement for testing and credentialing fees $10,000 Golden State Teacher Grant (via either the state or Alder) Additional funding for SPED candidates may be available Up to $5,600 in federal grants Alder Tuition Scholarship of up to $10,000 Up to $20,500 in federal loans Priority hiring consideration for a full-time position
