Job Summary Job Summary The free, short application for the Dixon USD Teacher Residency at Alder GSE is now open (September 1, 2026)! The application deadline is November 6, 2026. Dixon Unified School District is now recruiting a new cohort for the Dixon USD-Alder GSE Teacher Residency Program. This innovative and affordable pathway offers aspiring educators a direct route to becoming a full-time teacher in our community. In just one year, residents earn both a Master's Degree and a Teaching Credential while gaining hands-on experience in the classroom. The program combines rigorous coursework led by Alder GSE faculty with a mentorship-based, co-teaching model in the TK12 classroom to develop highly effective educators. Upon completion of the residency, graduates receive priority consideration for full-time teaching positions within Dixon USD Partner schools. TUITION ~$23,970 tuition (final tuition set in Sept. 2026 for the Class of 2027)
