Key Qualifications:

Credentialed as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Proven experience, or strong interest, in K-12 settings In-depth knowledge of educational strategies for students with visual impairments Skills in adapting curriculum, assistive technology, and creating accessible classroom materials Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff

What Youll Do:

Provide direct and consultative instruction tailored to students with visual impairments Assess individual needs, develop and implement appropriate learning plans Offer expert guidance on adaptive devices, Braille, large print, and other tools to support access Collaborate with general education teachers to design accessible lessons Participate in IEP development, meetings, and progress reporting Support students social and emotional development, promoting independence and self-advocacy Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress records Perks of the
