Daily Pay Range:
Up to $30/hr. Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards Qualifications You may qualify as a Behavior Interventionist (BI) OR Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Behavior Technician (BII) Experience supporting individuals with moderate-severe behavior needs At least 1 year experience in a special education, behavior support, ABA, mental health, or classroom setting Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Valid RBT Certification Experience in ABA therapy and working with students with developmental disabilities At least 1 year experience supporting individuals with significant behavior challenges
Role Requirements:
Experience in behavioral therapy and working with students with developmental disabilities At least 1 year experience working with children/adults with special needs; OR At least 1 year year in a classroom /education setting
Minimum Education:
Highschool Diploma Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor State & federal background checks TB risk assessment or test You'll stand out if you have: Any SpEd-specific training or applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience Passion for education and putting students first An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
What You'll Do:
Work closely with students, either 1:1 or across entire classrooms Assist various moderate to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1:1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans) Follow direction from, and assist lead educators Comfortable working with medically fragile/high behavior situations Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process About Scoot Education Scoot Education is a thoughtful staffing partner with a mission to help create exceptional experiences in education.
