•$55 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications School experience Student support planning Math Working with students Literacy education Organizational skills Full Job Description Part Time Learning Specialist — 10-15 Hours per Week Center for Learning & Behavioral Solutions (C4L) is seeking an experienced Learning Specialist to provide and oversee learning support services within a private school setting. This is a part time position of approximately 10-15 hours per week. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator with a strong background in evidence based academic intervention who is comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other student support professionals. This position requires someone who can work directly with students while also helping coordinate and strengthen learning support services within the school.
Responsibilities include:
Provide targeted individual and small group academic intervention Implement evidence based interventions in core academic areas, including reading, writing, and mathematics Review student data and monitor student progress to help guide intervention and support Collaborate with teachers and other student support professionals to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions Provide guidance and support to teachers implementing academic interventions in the classroom Assist with the coordination and oversight of learning support services Maintain appropriate documentation of student services, interventions, and progress Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and other professionals involved in supporting students Utilize school based technology, including student information systems, instructional portals, learning management systems, online assessment and progress monitoring tools, and other digital resources
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in learning support, special education, academic intervention, or a related school based role Demonstrated experience implementing evidence based academic interventions in core academic areas Strong understanding of learning differences and the academic needs of students requiring additional support Demonstrated ability to collaborate with, coordinate, and provide guidance to teachers and other members of a school based student support team Strong technology skills and proficiency with school portals, instructional platforms, digital learning tools, and electronic documentation systems Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and under the guidance and oversight of C4L leadership Master's degree in education, special education, educational psychology, or a related field preferred This position is well suited for an experienced Learning Specialist who enjoys working directly with students while also contributing to the coordination and development of learning support services within a school community.
