This contract, full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week and is located in the vibrant community near Orland, CA. Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid teaching credential authorizing service as a Special Education Teacher for mild/moderate disabilities Prior experience working in school settings, especially within SDC environments Strong understanding of IEP processes and accommodations/adaptations for diverse learning needs Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction to students in a self-contained, mild/moderate SDC classroom setting Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and accommodations based on students IEPs Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to support learning and behavioral goals Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment that addresses both academic and social/emotional growth Maintain accurate and confidential student documentation and progress reports This role provides the chance to shape student experiences in a supportive environment committed to helping every learner thrive.
