•Requirements / Qualifications The free, short application for the Val Verde Unified School District(VVUSD) Teacher Residency at Alder GSE is now open (September 1, 2026)! The priority application deadline is October 9, 2026. VVUSD is now recruiting a new cohort for the VVUSD-Alder GSE Teacher Residency Program. This innovative and affordable pathway offers aspiring educators a direct route to becoming a full-time teacher in our community. In just one year, residents earn both a Master's Degree and a Teaching Credential while gaining hands-on experience in the classroom. The program combines rigorous coursework led by Alder GSE faculty with a mentorship-based, co-teaching model in the TK12 classroom to develop highly effective educators. Upon completion of the residency, graduates receive priority consideration for full-time teaching positions within VVUSD schools. TUITION ~$23,290 tuition (final tuition set in Sept. 2026 for the Class of 2027)
