Special Education Academic Coaches are essential to maintaining our low student-teacher ratio and ensuring all students get the individualized attention requisite for success.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION

• High School diploma/GED and
• An Associate's degree (or higher) or
• 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university or
• Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading (or readiness), writing (or readiness), and mathematics (or readiness).

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a school/learning environment preferred
• Experience with ABA strategies preferred and/or
