October 1, 2026 The Special Education Academic Coach II is responsible for ensuring that students with diverse needs have access to our general education curriculum. Special Education Academic Coaches are essential to maintaining our low student-teacher ratio and ensuring all students get the individualized attention requisite for success.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School diploma/GED and
An Associate's degree (or higher) or
48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university or
Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading (or readiness), writing (or readiness), and mathematics (or readiness).
EXPERIENCE
Experience in a school/learning environment preferred
Experience with ABA strategies preferred and/or
Experience with student medical needs preferred Requirements / Qualifications
