This in-person, itinerant opportunity will have you supporting multiple school sites near Sunnyvale, CA, beginning August 10, 2025 and extending through June 4, 2026. Bring your strong organizational skills and effective communication to collaborate with staff, students, and families. Youll provide vital support to learners who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, ensuring they can fully access and participate in the educational experience. Your experience working within California schools will help you navigate the roles and responsibilities with confidence, and your commitment will make a lasting difference for the students in your care.

Key qualifications:

Active and current California DHH credential or license is required Demonstrated experience with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask across sites Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with California school systems and educational standards preferred Comfort providing services at multiple school locations (itinerant) Dedicated to in-person services only; no virtual teaching Primary responsibilities: Deliver direct instructional and consultative services to DHH students Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and help adapt curriculum to meet unique needs Maintain thorough documentation and reports as required Travel between multiple schools in the district (mileage reimbursed) Step into a fulfilling role where each day brings new opportunities to empower students.
