Setting:
School-based, onsite Responsibilities Provide specialized academic instruction based on individual student needs and IEP goals. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs while maintaining required documentation and compliance. Adapt curriculum, instruction, accommodations, and modifications to meet student needs. Monitor student progress and use data to guide instructional decisions. Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related-service providers, administrators, and families. Support students' academic, behavioral, functional, communication, and social-emotional development as appropriate to the assigned classroom. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Requirements Active California CTC Education Specialist credential required. Seeking candidates credentialed in Mild/Moderate Support Needs and/or Moderate/Severe/Extensive Support Needs. Previous school-based Special Education experience preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, case management, and California Special Education requirements. Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34.
