Job Description

Special Education Teacher - Aspen, CO (Onsite) Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in Aspen, Colorado . This is a great opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and supportive school environment.

Position Details:

Full-Time (35-40 hours per week) Onsite in Aspen, CO W-2 contract through

Sunbelt Staffing Start Date:

ASAP End Date:

End of School Year (with potential for renewal)

Caseload:

K-12 (discussed during interview)

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals Develop, implement, and update IEPs Support students with a variety of disabilities and learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff Implement behavior intervention plans and monitor student progress Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance

Qualifications:

Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or related field Previous school-based experience preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills
