Stepping into this role, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact within a focused learning environment, guiding a caseload of 7-10 students toward meaningful growth throughout the school day. This assignment begins August 27 and continues through mid-November, offering a fulfilling short-term opportunity to connect, teach, and inspire.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Connecticut Special Education License (required) Background in special education instruction and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff Experience managing small caseloads is preferred Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive, and adaptive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver instructional programming tailored to individual student goals and needs Implement IEPs and monitor progress, adjusting strategies to maximize student success Work collaboratively with related service providers, classroom teachers, and families Utilize data and observations to adapt instructional approaches as needed Support students' academic, social, and behavioral growth throughout the school day
Assignment Details:
Contract position: August 27 through mid-
November Schedule:
