In this dynamic role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and support the holistic development of students. Your expertise will help cultivate a love for learning, promote academic excellence, and nurture each child's unique potential. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's educational journeys while collaborating with a team of committed educators. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education. Utilize differentiated instruction techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including students with special needs or autism. Monitor and assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, analyzing student performance data to inform instruction. Maintain classroom management strategies that promote respectful behavior, engagement, and a safe learning environment. Incorporate educational technology tools and learning technology platforms to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming classroom activities through parent-teacher conferences and written reports. Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum development, school events, and professional growth initiatives such as mentoring or team planning sessions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification for elementary education is required. Proven experience teaching children in grades K-5 within classroom settings or similar environments. Strong understanding of childhood development principles, literacy education, mathematics instruction, and standardized testing procedures. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including early childhood education, special education, or early intervention programs. Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and team collaboration. Proficiency in curriculum implementation, lesson planning, classroom management, and educational technology integration. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and behavioral needs; experience working with students with autism or behavioral challenges is a plus. Knowledge of educational compliance regulations and best practices in childcare settings. Skills in tutoring, behavior management techniques, child development assessment tools, and library services are advantageous.
