Job Description

Christian Academy for Autism is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated teachers to join our growing team. Our private school provides a supportive and structured learning environment designed to meet the individual educational, behavioral, and developmental needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental needs. We currently operate four locations across Lee County, including two campuses in Lehigh Acres, one in Fort Myers, and a new Cape Coral location opening soon. Teacher openings are available across all four locations. Our teachers are highly supported and work with small class sizes, always with the assistance of a Teacher Assistant and, when needed, two Teacher Assistants. Training and ongoing guidance are also provided. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, energetic, and passionate about helping children learn and succeed. Experience working with children with autism, special needs, or in an ESE setting is highly valued Responsibilities Provide classroom instruction and support Adapt lessons to meet individual student needs Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment Monitor student progress Collaborate with staff and families Support academic, communication, social, and behavioral goals Requirements Bachelor's degree required Teaching or classroom experience preferred Experience with autism, special education, or developmental disabilities preferred Strong communication and classroom-management skills Dependable, patient, and professional English proficiency required Must meet all background screening requirements
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have working with children with autism, special needs, or developmental disabilities?
