Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated VPK (VPK stands for Voluntary Prekindergarten) Teacher to inspire young learners and foster their early childhood development. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support ongoing learning at home. Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student assessments, attendance, and other required documentation in compliance with licensing standards. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; classroom management skills are highly valued. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention practices. Certification or licensing in early childhood education or related fields is required; familiarity with VPK program standards is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and Montessori methods if applicable.
