We are looking for a teacher who is comfortable working with students across multiple grade levels, maintaining a structured classroom environment, and teaching multiple academic subjects. This position is ideal for an educator who can confidently manage a classroom while adjusting instruction to meet students at different academic levels. Subjects The teacher should be comfortable teaching or supporting instruction in: Mathematics English Language Arts Science History / Social Studies Spanish (preferred but not required) Because students range from grades 6-12, the teacher must be able to differentiate instruction based on grade level, academic ability, and individual student needs. Responsibilities Teach students in grades 6-12 across multiple academic subjects. Prepare and deliver clear, engaging, grade-appropriate lessons. Adapt instruction for students working at different academic levels. Maintain a structured, respectful, and productive classroom environment. Manage student behavior professionally and consistently. Create and grade assignments, quizzes, tests, and classroom activities. Track student academic progress and identify areas requiring additional support. Provide individual or small-group assistance when necessary. Encourage student participation, accountability, critical thinking, and academic growth. Communicate student progress or behavioral concerns to school administration. Follow Royalty Academy's academic standards, policies, procedures, and expectations. Collaborate with other teachers and school leadership to support student success.
Qualifications Required:
Strong communication and classroom-management skills. Ability to work effectively with middle and high school students. Ability to teach or support multiple academic subjects. Strong understanding of core academic concepts. Professional, dependable, organized, and patient. Ability to maintain authority while developing positive relationships with students. Ability to adapt lessons for different grade levels and learning abilities.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related academic field. Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth-development experience. Experience teaching students in grades 6-12. Florida teaching certification or relevant educational credentials. Spanish language proficiency or experience teaching Spanish. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is more than someone who can explain academic material. We are looking for an educator who can lead a classroom . You should be comfortable establishing expectations, holding students accountable, helping struggling students, challenging advanced students, and creating an environment where students can focus and learn. Because Royalty Academy serves multiple grade levels, flexibility is essential. Teachers must be willing and able to work with students who may be studying different subjects or working at different levels within the same school environment.
