Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated early childhood education team as a VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the future. In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, engaging learning environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and development for preschool-aged children. Your expertise in early childhood education and curriculum development will inspire children to reach their full potential while fostering a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere. Duties Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with preschool standards, focusing on literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and active learning Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies Conduct assessments and utilize standardized testing to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and support early intervention strategies when needed Incorporate Montessori methods and other child-centered approaches to enhance learning experiences Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans in compliance with state regulations Requirements Valid certification as a VPK Teacher or equivalent early childhood education credential Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and lesson planning Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention techniques Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues Experience with classroom experience in private schools or daycare environments preferred Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote a positive learning environment Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods for early learners Join us in creating a nurturing space where young children thrive! Pay:
