Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Floater/Closing Two Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support classroom activities across different groups, especially focusing on closing responsibilities for our two-year-old learners. Responsibilities Provide flexible support across multiple classrooms, ensuring smooth daily operations and continuity of care Assist with curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards, emphasizing literacy, math, and STEM integration Lead engaging activities that promote social-emotional development, behavior management, and early intervention strategies Manage classroom routines including diapering, potty training, and age-appropriate physical activities Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori methods and other educational best practices Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure child welfare and developmental progress Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques Experience in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math, and STEM concepts Proven ability to work with children in a daycare or preschool setting, especially with toddlers aged two years old Excellent classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and engagement Familiarity with special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies Effective communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members Ability to adapt quickly as a floater while maintaining consistency in teaching quality Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment Passion for early childhood education with experience in preschool or daycare environments preferred Join us at Plant City Early Learning Academy where your enthusiasm fuels young minds!
