Job Description

A school district near Tavares, FL is seeking a dedicated TVI professional with an OMS certification for a full-time contract opportunity, beginning August 3, 2026, and extending through the 2026-2027 school year. The role features an itinerant schedule servicing approximately 15-20 students from kindergarten through high school, providing both direct instruction and consultative services across up to 13 different schools. A hybrid work option may be available, offering a blend of on-site support with students on select days and virtual services for the remainder of the week. The district will collaborate with you to customize your weekly schedule and regular commute, utilizing the main office as a home base and ensuring efficiency and flexibility.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Florida Professional Teacher for the Visually Impaired licensure OMS Certification required Testing and student screening experience is essential School-based background is highly valued, though not mandatory Strong adaptability for itinerant roles and ability to travel between campuses Excellent communication skills for delivering both direct instruction and consultative services

Responsibilities:
