Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating best practices in early childhood education and child development standards Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction Conduct regular assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and developmental benchmarks to inform instruction Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school partnerships Incorporate early intervention strategies to support children with special needs or developmental delays, collaborating with specialists as needed Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, attendance, and developmental observations Lead activities that promote physical education, literacy education, math skills, and overall childhood development in accordance with curriculum goals Skills Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention practices Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with special education needs and strategies for inclusive teaching environments Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and developmental levels Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations First aid and CPR certification to ensure a safe environment for all children Experience with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment Skills in teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds including toddlers through preschool age groups Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms young lives!
