Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive instructional methods
- Experience working with students aged Pre-K through 12 who have varying degrees of visual impairment
- Strong communication abilities for interaction with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability in educational approaches to meet individualized student needs
- Familiarity with writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in visual impairment education
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans in accordance with students' IEPs
