Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with ASD and non-verbal students Understanding of adaptive communication strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong classroom management and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere Residing in or willing to commute to the local area

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to K-12 students with diverse learning profiles Adapt curriculum and create materials for students needing unique supports Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Maintain regular communication with families, staff, and specialists to support student progress Create a positive and structured classroom environment focused on student safety and achievement Monitor and track progress, documenting growth and areas for continued support
