Job Description
Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher providing direct services to students in grades K-12 on a full-time, onsite contract. You'll collaborate with a welcoming team, design individualized instruction, and support a diverse student population, helping each child achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
Current Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) License required Previous experience working with K-12 caseloads preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies to meet individualized student needs
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's strengths and needs Deliver instruction in a variety of settings, including resource rooms and classrooms Monitor student progress and document outcomes according to district and state guidelines Work closely with general education staff, families, and other specialists Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Use evidence-based practices and modify curriculum as needed Advocate for students and ensure compliance with legal and ethical requirements
